CBN Prohibits Cryptocurrency, Warns Financial Institutions| GOVERNMEND

The Central Bank of Nigeria has released a memo stating its disapproval of cryptocurrency.

This memo dated 5th, February 2021 made it known to the public that it’s illegal and not acceptable as a means of exchange in the country yet.
