The apex bank’s governor, Godwin Emefiele is alleged to have amassed wealth whose source can only be traced to corruption proceeds, using his office as a channel to steal from the public vault.

SaharaReporters gathered that the governor of the central Bank, is currently building a multi-billion mansion that is a cynosure to residents of this expensive community in Abuja.

It should be noted that Godwin Emefiele was caught having a phone conversation about a looted N500b in 2019. Despite the evidence before the presidency and the legislative arm of government, no effort was made to investigate the allegations.
