Seun Kuti Blasts Desmond Elliott, Labels Him As An “Idiot”

The Grammy nominee, grandchild of the popular late iconoclast, Funmilayo Ransome-Kuti and the son of the late music legend, Fela Anikulapo stated during an exclusive interview on the State of the Nation at GOVERNMEND that Desmond Elliott, the representative of Surulere at the Lagos State Parliament is a bad representation for the youth of this country.

During the one hour interview, Seun Kuti maintained that Desmond Elliott is now Desmond Idiot, judging from his performance as a two term parliamentarian in Lagos.

” Desmond is an idiot. We’ve changed his name and it will remain Desmond Idiot forever, nothing is changing his name from the Desmond Idiot he earned by failing himself” Seun kuti Insisted.

Desmond Elliott has been receiving backlash since he assumed office. It’s probably people expected too much from him or he was never prepared to represent people he’s representing as it has been from commissioning toilet to celebrating placing slabs across drains. Desmond Elliott like Yahaya Bello has been described as youth who’s breaking the notion of “youths can do better”
