Politrick Today: El Rufai Enrolled Son In A Primary School Publicly, Withdrew Secretly
Today’s edition of “politricks” which is the maiden edition of publication crafted to take the mind of the public back to series of malicious events in politics that didn’t get so much attention at the point it happened or left unchecked features one of the many “politricks” of the popular former Kaduna State Governor, H.E Nasir El Rufai public enrolment of his son in a public primary school in 2020.
The six year old governor’s son was taken to the school and enrolled with full media coverage for publicity of what looked like an ideal thing to do and it served as evidence of how much investment the then Governor had made in education to make it good enough for his own son. This widely recieved commendation from the public. Surprisingly, in less than a month the former governor withdrew the boy from the school silently and enrolled him in a private school in an undisclosed location on the account of supposed insecurity. If his child was withdrawn on the basis of security, how about children of the poor in our schools?
