New INEC Commissioners Nominated by President Tinubu

President Bola Tinubu has announced the appointment of nine new Resident Electoral Commissioners (RECs) for the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC). These appointees are slated to serve a five-year term, pending approval from the Nigerian Senate.

Isah Shaka Ehimeakne — Appointed as Edo State Resident Electoral Commissioner.
Bamidele Agbede — Appointed as Ekiti State Resident Electoral Commissioner.
Jani Adamu Bello — Appointed as Gombe State Resident Electoral Commissioner.
Taiye Ilayasu — Appointed as Kwara State Resident Electoral Commissioner.
Bunmi Omoseyindemi — Appointed as Lagos State Resident Electoral Commissioner.
Yahaya Bello — Appointed as Nasarawa State Resident Electoral Commissioner.
Mohammed Yalwa — Appointed as Niger State Resident Electoral Commissioner.
Anugbum Onuoha — Appointed as Rivers State Resident Electoral Commissioner.
Abubakar Fawa Dambo — Appointed as Zamfara State Resident Electoral Commissioner.
