Tinubu Presents APC Flags to Gubernatorial Candidates in Three States

President Bola Tinubu, the leader of the All Progressive Congress (APC), presented the symbolic flag of the party to candidates contesting gubernatorial seats in Bayelsa, Kogi, and Imo states.

The candidates, namely Hope Uzodinma, Timipreye Sylva, and Ahmed Ododo for Imo, Bayelsa, and Kogi states, respectively, received the flags during a ceremony held at the Presidential Villa in Abuja.

The event was also attended by the National Chairman of the APC, Abdullahi Ganduje.

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) had scheduled the off-season elections in these three states for November 11, 2023.

President Tinubu expressed his best wishes for the candidates and praised their dedication to the party’s mission and the promotion of democracy in Nigeria.

He highlighted their hard work and contributions to the party’s progress and wished for their victory in the upcoming elections.

Tinubu also acknowledged the efforts of the party’s leadership and the National Working Committee, expressing his readiness to support their campaigns.

The event symbolises the APC’s preparation and aspirations for the upcoming off-season elections in these states.
