A gathering of former national chairmen of the Petroleum Tanker Drivers (PTD) dismissed any speculation of a potential breakaway from the overarching union.
During a solidarity visit to Augustine Egbon, the current national chairman of PTD at the NUPENG National Secretariat in Abuja, John Ossai, a member of the forum, emphasised their satisfaction with the recent election organized by the mother union, NUPENG.
Ossai called for unity among all branch units of PTD nationwide, asserting the continued affiliation with NUPENG.
The message underscored the commitment of PTD to maintain cohesion within the union and uphold their allegiance to the newly elected leadership.
