Aiyedatiwa Commits to Honoring Akeredolu’s Legacy, Pledges Completion of Ongoing Projects

Ondo State Governor, Lucky Aiyedatiwa, has pledged to ensure the completion of all ongoing projects initiated by his late predecessor, Oluwarotimi Akeredolu. Aiyedatiwa made this commitment during a candlelight procession organized by the Nigeria Bar Association (NBA), Ondo State chapter, to honor Akeredolu at the Government House in Akure.
In his address, Aiyedatiwa praised Akeredolu as a fearless legal luminary and a dedicated leader. He highlighted Akeredolu’s commitment to justice and service to the people, which earned him the title “Senior Advocate of the Masses.”
The governor expressed his gratitude to the NBA members for their genuine love and support, emphasizing the significance of their tribute in honoring Akeredolu’s memory. Aiyedatiwa assured that his administration would prioritize the completion of the late governor’s projects as a tribute to his legacy.
Aiyedatiwa also appealed for continued prayers, acknowledging the challenging times and the need for strength to cope with the loss. He urged the public to pray for the government’s resilience and ability to fulfill its responsibilities.
In his remarks, NBA Chairman, Akure Branch, Mr. Bayo Aina, emphasized the association’s unwavering commitment to uphold and sustain Akeredolu’s impactful work, even after his passing. Aina pledged to ensure that Akeredolu’s legacy continued to guide the state’s governance and legal landscape as an enduring beacon of inspiration.
