The Islamic Development Bank (IsDB) has expressed its willingness to collaborate with the Kaduna State government in addressing the challenges of out-of-school children and poverty alleviation. This development was revealed by Uba Sani, the state governor, following a meeting with a delegation from the bank led by Ahsanul Kibria.
Governor Sani emphasized that the meeting was a continuation of his administration’s commitment to achieving sustainable development, providing quality education, and reducing poverty, particularly in rural areas.
“I had a productive meeting with the senior management team of the Islamic Development Bank (IsDB) led by Mr. Ahsanul Kibria, the Country Operations Manager. Our discussions focused on addressing the issues of out-of-school children and implementing effective poverty reduction initiatives,” stated the governor.
He further highlighted that education and poverty reduction are among the top priorities of his administration. The strategic partnership with the Islamic Development Bank is expected to empower the Kaduna State Government in significantly reducing the number of out-of-school children and enhancing the overall well-being of the state’s residents.
