Governor Sanwo-Olu Woos UK Investors, Promises Friendly Business Environment in Lagos
Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, urged foreign investors, particularly those from the United Kingdom, to consider Lagos as their preferred investment destination. He emphasized his administration’s commitment to creating a conducive business environment in Lagos.
During a visit by the United Kingdom Secretary of State for Business and Trade, Kemi Badenoch, Governor Sanwo-Olu highlighted the importance of boosting trading activities to strengthen Nigeria’s economy. He emphasized the need for Nigeria to consume locally produced goods to reduce reliance on foreign currency.
Governor Sanwo-Olu assured investors of a business-friendly environment, stating that Lagos offers numerous opportunities for investment. He noted that Lagos is a key business hub in West Africa and sub-Saharan Africa, making it an attractive destination for foreign investors.
