The Commissioner of Police in Anambra State, CP Aderemi Adeoye, recently retired from active service and recounted his experiences during his pull-out parade. He claimed to have successfully fought various insurgent groups in different regions of Nigeria without sustaining any scars. These groups included the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) in the Southeast, Niger Delta militants in the South-South, and Boko Haram insurgents in the North.
