Represented by Vice President Kashim Shettima at the event held in Kaduna State, Tinubu assured the nation that the current economic hardships were temporary and would soon be alleviated.

Tinubu reiterated his commitment to supporting the modernization efforts of the NAF to enhance national security. He commended the theme of the celebration, “NAF at 60: leveraging strategic partnership in aerospace innovations for regional security,” highlighting the government’s investments in procuring advanced combat air attack helicopters and other platforms to bolster NAF’s capabilities.

Emphasizing the importance of security for national development, Shettima praised the dedication of NAF personnel and reiterated the administration’s prioritization of security. He acknowledged the economic challenges faced by Nigerians, urging patience and emphasizing that these hardships were temporary and would be overcome soon.
