The All Progressives Congress (APC) has criticized former Vice President Atiku Abubakar, accusing him of harboring envy towards President Bola Tinubu and displaying a desperate thirst for power. Atiku had previously criticized Tinubu’s economic policies, describing them as ineffective and harmful to both the poor and the rich.

In response, the APC, through its National Publicity Secretary Felix Morka, Esq., condemned Atiku’s continuous vilification of Tinubu’s administration’s achievements. The party asserted that Atiku’s criticisms stemmed from his personal ambition for power, which he has been unable to attain.

The APC refuted Atiku’s claims, presenting data to showcase Tinubu’s administration’s achievements within its first year. These achievements include attracting over $20 billion into the economy, significant growth in the stock exchange, and improvements in various sectors such as manufacturing, telecommunications, and oil and gas.

The party accused Atiku of ignoring the positive developments in the country, such as improvements in security, particularly in the North East where Atiku hails from. It also highlighted ongoing negotiations with labor unions to review the minimum wage and initiatives to improve social investment policies.

In conclusion, the APC criticized Atiku for his alleged envy towards Tinubu and his relentless pursuit of power. The party defended Tinubu’s administration’s achievements and urged Atiku to acknowledge the progress being made under its leadership.
