Who We Are

GovernMEND Nigeria is a youth focused non-profit organization dedicated to promoting participatory democracy, civic responsibility, and accountable governance in Nigeria. We use journalism, education, and advocacy as tools to strengthen political consciousness and citizen participation.

Our Mission

GovernMEND Nigeria is committed to critically engaging government and public policies in order to build a participatory political culture capable of driving meaningful political change among the youth population. Through journalism and political education, we amplify activist voices, confront media suppression, and advocate for accountable leadership, democratic values, and good governance.

Our Vision

To build an informed, politically conscious, and socially active youth citizenry that drives democratic accountability and equitable governance in Nigeria.

To conduct political education programs that improve civic literacy and democratic awareness.
To provide platforms for youth to engage in political conversations and policy discussions.
To promote youth representation in governance through mentorship and internships.
