VIDEO: “We Are Just Used and Dumped,” Man Blasts Politicians
A viral video showing a man angrily criticising politicians during a community meeting has been circulating on social media, sparking reactions from users online.
The video, which went viral on Wednesday on X (formerly Twitter), captured the moment the unidentified man spoke furiously while addressing other members of the community during what appeared to be a local meeting session.
In the video, the man accused politicians of abandoning the people after elections, claiming that community members are only remembered when political support is needed. He complained that residents are often used during campaigns but do not benefit from the promises made by political leaders.
“We’re done being used by politicians! Tell me, which politician has ever sent us to Mecca or even given us a car? If they don’t pay us 40 million naira, we’re walking away for good. Let them use their own children for their dirty work now,” he said in the video.
